About Fred Giovansili
Mr. Giovansili is President of Jefferies Asset Management and is responsible for the overall management of the business in partnership with JefAM Chairman Sol Kumin. Fred brings over 25 years of experience across asset management, banking, and capital markets.
Before joining Jefferies, Mr. Giovansili served as Group Deputy CEO and Head of Franchise, Clients & Solutions at Tikehau Capital, where he steered global client strategy, governance, and product innovation. He played a key role in expanding the firm’s international footprint and developing new investment and distribution capabilities.
Mr. Giovansili began his career in Global Markets and structured solutions, holding senior leadership positions at Citigroup, MerrillLynch, and J.P. Morgan. Across these institutions, he managed multinational teams and led institutional sales effortsthroughout Europe, with a focus on public and private markets.
He holds an MSc from Centrale Supélec and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from La Sorbonne University.
