Mr. Schumann is Head of Consultant Relations for Jefferies Asset Management and is responsible for building and maintaining advocacy for the firm’s strategies across the investment consultant community. Mr. Schumann joined Jefferies (Leucadia Asset Management) in 2019.
Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Schumann led the US Consultant Relations group and the West Coast capital raising efforts at Sculptor Capital Management for nearly seven years. Previously, he was Director of Business Development at Legal & General Investments Management Americas where he was responsible for fundraising in the Western US. Mr. Schumann spent the first ten years of his career at AllianceBernstein.
Mr. Schumann earned a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
